Mostly Texas Natives Nursery

Standing Cypress is one of the skinniest plants you'll see. And this tall native sprouts hundreds of those skinny red flowers that hummingbirds love. It also attracts bees and birds. Blooms appear from late spring hrough early summer. and return mid-summer. They grow quickly to their height of 4 to 6 feet. Bunch several to create impact. Average water needs; not reliably cold-hardy in the Dallas area, so you'll need to protect them during winter. Place them where you can see them from a window so you won't miss the hummers!
