Artemisia (are-ti-Meez-ee-a)
arborescens x absinthium ‘Powis Castle'
Artemisia ‘Powis Castle'

The soft and fuzzy silver-colored leaves make Powis Castle artemisia a useful contrast in the garden to other greenery. The plant, not a Texas native but one that is well-adapted, spreads to about 3 feet and gets 2-3 feet tall. It loves heat and sun and once-established doesn't require much water. Use it as an accent plant. The smell is nice, too. It requires very little maintenance. Just plant and enjoy. -- Rick R.
