'Henry Duelberg' Salvia
'Henry Duelberg' Salvia isn't a fancy plant, and that is its appeal. It is a tall, graceful, early spring flowering Texas native perennial that needs little maintenance and is tough enough to handle heat, cold and Texas summers. This mealy blue sage hasn't had the vigorous growth bred out of it. Its spikes of showy blue flowers and large, bright-green leaves will brighten your day from spring to frost. Use it in containers, perennial borders, water-wise gardens. This plant needs little water once established. If you want the flowers to rebloom, shear back between bloom cycles. Named a Texas SuperStar by Texas A&M University. Pair it with 'Augusta Duelberg' Salvia, the white-blooming version, which we also sell. This is one you'll treasure. -- Rick R.
